How much does it cost to recharge a car AC?

We charge $165 plus gst for Aircon regassing/service. This includes assessing the A/C System for any faults or concerns, regassing the unit and lubricating the compressor as well as filling the system with a UV dye so we can detect any leaks present at time of test. 

Is a car air conditioning service worth it?

We recommend servicing the A/C system every 2-3 years to allow us to lubricate the A/C compressor with fresh oil and assessing for any potential faults to keep your A/C system in good shape for the summer heat. 

Can I fix my car AC myself?

You must be a licensed technician to work on your A/C system. We are fully licensed under the Australian Refrigeration Counsil.

How do you know if your car air conditioner needs regassing?

If your A/C system is not performing well in the summer heat, this will generally indicate your system requires a service.
